Elite
Elite is a space trading video game, written and developed by David Braben and Ian Bell and originally published by Acornsoft for the BBC Micro and Acorn Electron computers in September 1984. Elite's open-ended game model, and revolutionary 3D graphics led to it being ported to virtually every contemporary home computer system, and earned it a place as a classic and a genre maker in gaming history. The game's title derives from one of the player's goals of raising their combat rating to the exalted heights of "Elite". Elite was one of the first home computer games to use wire-frame 3D graphics with hidden line removal. It added graphics and twitch gameplay aspects to the genre established by the 1974 game Star Trader. Another novelty was the inclusion of The Dark Wheel, a novella by Robert Holdstock which gave players insight into the moral and legal codes to which they might aspire.
James Bond 007: The World Is Not Enough
James Bond 007: The World Is Not Enough is based off of the 1999 James Bond film of the same name. In contrast to the Nintendo 64 and Playstation versions, this game only has eight missions and features a 2D overhead view instead of a 3D first-person. There is no multiplayer, no difficulty levels, and no save feature. Passwords are used to skip to later levels and unlock certain cheats.
James Bond 007: Tomorrow Never Dies
In 007: Tomorrow Never Dies, which is based on the movie of the same name, the player takes the role of the famous James Bond who fights against Elliot Carver. Carver tries to increase his TV ratings by creating a war between the British and the Chinese. To achieve his goal he sunk a British ship with his stealth ship and made it look like the Chinese Air Force was the offender. Now it is Bond's responsibility to set things right...
Wild Guns
Released in 1994, Wild Guns is a shooting gallery video game for the Super Nintendo Entertainment System, developed by Natsume. Its setting is a unique blend of the Wild West, steampunk, and science fiction. The narrative revolves around Annie and Clint, a bounty hunter duo on a quest for vengeance after Annie's family is killed. Players can choose to control either Annie or Clint, navigating through the foreground, avoiding enemy fire, and taking down hostile robots in the background. This gameplay combines elements from third-person shooters and light gun games.
Duke Nukem II
Duke Nukem is back. Captured by an alien foe in the middle of promoting his best-selling book, “Why I’m So Great”, Duke must once more defeat the forces of evil to save himself from the knowledge-stealing Rigelatins, and ultimately prove his book’s namesake. The Getaway
The Getaway is a sandbox crime game set in London. It is inspired by British gangland films Get Carter and Snatch. Initially, the release of the game was to coincide with the launch of the PlayStation 2 in 2000, but was delayed by 27 months due to the difficulty of re-creating large areas of London in high resolution. Parts of The Getaway feature in various episodes of Graham Duff's Ideal.
Hawken
War is a Machine Pilot hulking death machines and use massive weaponry to destroy your foes in fast-paced FPS gameplay. Hawken is a multiplayer first person shooter that places you inside a mechanized war machine on the battlefield of a dystopian world. With tactical, fast-paced gameplay in customizable and upgradable mechs across multiple competitive modes, Hawken is explosively fun.
Star Trek: Voyager - Elite Force
This first person shooter set in the Star Trek universe lets you take control of a member of the Starship Voyager crew as you combat the Borg and other enemies. The game utilizes the Quake 3 engine for incredible graphics as you travel through many familiar locations --Voyager, a Borg cube, a Klingon Bird of Prey, and more. The game also requires you to solve missions with the help of intelligent computer controlled teammates and allies.
Outcast
Outcast is a 3D third-person (with an optional first-person view) action game with adventure elements. In search of five sacred relics, the protagonist travels through the five continents of Adelpha (plus one tutorial island). Each land has its own landscape (mountains, lakes, forests), populated areas, as well as dozens of minor problems - small quests that the hero is required to solve. Most Talans populating the world can be conversed with about a variety of topics. A large portion of the game consists of finding key characters and performing quests for them; some of these are optional, though most must be completed in an adventure-like linear fashion in order to advance the plot. Cutter is free to travel between the continents using special portals. Apart from exploration and completing quests, Cutter will also fight many guards and creatures. At his disposal are six futuristic weapons (railgun and others); ammunition for those guns is scattered around and can also be produced by mixing items. Aiming help is provided in the form of laser sights. Sneaking up to the enemy and punching him out silently is also possible. Gadgets such as a holo-decoy can be used to help Cutter gain the upper hand in combat. The player character can also jump, climb, swim, dive, crawl, and ride a local animal known as Twon-Ha for faster travel.
FragPunk
FragPunk is the new free-to-play 5v5 hero shooter poised to break the rules of combat. What makes FragPunk different is the introduction of Shard Cards that can affect the playing field for all players. Shard Cards are voted on by players before each round and can change the entire playing field – from making player’s heads big to your team into zombies when you are downed. FragPunk has a low barrier entry but a high-level of gunplay mechanics making it a great choice for casual gamers to hardcore FPS fans alike.

The Suffering: Ties That Bind
The Suffering: Ties That Bind follows in the footsteps of its predecessor by combining a disturbing horror atmosphere with action/shooter gameplay. Players can switch between third person and first person depending on their preference, and will shoot a lot of hideous demonic manifestations of evil before the game is done. The player is also able to transform into a hideous creature at key times in the game, which allows him to engage in intense melee combat. The game includes a morality system which records the player's actions during gameplay and changes the story accordingly, and also alters the player's creature form. Everything from the first The Suffering has been refined and turned up a notch for the sequel.

Plants vs. Zombies: Battle for Neighborville
Similar to its predecessors, the game is a third-person shooter where players take control of the Plants or the Zombies in either a cooperative or competitive multiplayer environment. Kingpin: Life of Crime
Kingpin: Life of Crime is a first-person shooter developed by Xatrix Entertainment (now a part of Treyarch) and published by Interplay Entertainment in June 1999. The game begins with the player character wounded and beaten up by the Kingpin's henchmen, and the story follows his thirst for revenge. Released shortly after the Columbine High School massacre, the game attracted controversy which led it to be dropped from various retailers, despite receiving moderate critical acclaim. The soundtrack for Kingpin was provided by the rap group Cypress Hill, and featured three tracks from their album IV. They were: - 16 Men Till There's No Men Left - Checkmate - Lightning Strikes Alongside the full versions of these tracks, instrumental versions with the vocals removed were used as backing tracks. Cypress Hill also provided some of the voice acting for the game.

The action is varied from intense fire fights through to slower pace tactical decision making on how to best tackle the mission objectives.
