Advance Wars: Dual Strike

Shogun: Total War

The gameplay consist of two parts – a turn-based Risk-style mode on a 2D campaign map of Japan where the player must recruit, manage and move their armies, conduct diplomacy, trade, espionage, sabotage and assassinations. This 2D map however ultimately serves to provide context for the 3D real-time battles that make up the main part of the game and occur whenever your army crosses into enemy territory or two opposing forces meet on the campaign map.

Battle Brothers
Battle Brothers is a turn based strategy RPG mix which has you leading a mercenary company in a gritty, low-power, medieval fantasy world. Once you engage a hostile party the game will switch to a tactical map where the actual fighting takes place as detailed turn based combat.

Pokémon Battle Revolution
Pokémon Battle Revolution features three main modes of play: Colosseum Battle Mode, DS Battle Mode, and Wi-Fi Battle Mode. In Colosseum Battle Mode, your goal is to battle your way through a series of Colosseums, each with its own set of rules and challenges. In DS Battle Mode, two to four players can get together to watch their Pokémon battle on the big screen while using their Nintendo DS systems as controllers. To participate in this mode, each player will need his or her own Nintendo DS and copy of Pokémon Diamond or Pokémon Pearl. Things get really interesting in Wi-Fi Battle Mode, which allows you to battle your friends over Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection using Friend Codes. Suikoden
Suikoden is a Japanese-style role-playing game with several unusual additions. There are three kinds of combat in the game, the most common one being the traditional turn-based party combat (players can have up to six people in their active party). Magic runes can be equipped on the player's characters which allow limited usage of offensive and healing spells. There are also a few army battles, where the player must control whole units of fighters, archers, magicians, etc., and one-on-one fights (duels).

If public order and loyalty should fall too low in a particular region a rebellion or a civil war may occur – in these situations the player may decide to side with the rebels or the current rulers to quell the rebellion or overthrow a tyrannous regime-

The mini-heroes have to find the crystals before he does, making their way through giant environments filled with enormous creatures. The single-player campaign takes place in five different settings, each of them ending with a boss. As usual, players have to collect coins and stars, at the same time escaping dangers such as Piranha Plants and other classic creatures from the Mario universe.
